ParentLens ("the App") is an AI-powered content analysis tool that helps parents evaluate movies, TV shows, and games for age-appropriateness. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Data We Collect

We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. All child profile information (names and ages) is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure local storage (SwiftData / UserDefaults).

• Child profiles — stored locally on device only
• Search history — stored locally on device only
• Content analysis results — cached locally on device

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Groq API – Content queries (movie/show/game titles you search) are sent to Groq's servers for AI analysis. No personal identifiers are included in these queries. Groq's privacy policy: groq.com/privacy-policy
• Google AdMob – Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (IDFA) for ad personalization. You can limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

4. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Child profiles created within the App are stored only on the user's device and never transmitted to any server.

5. Data Security

All data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS system-level security. We have no access to your device data.

6. Your Rights

You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the App from your device. This permanently removes all locally stored profiles and history.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
